We are seeking an experienced and visionary Principal Product Designer to lead the design of user-centered, innovative, and visually compelling products. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute design strategies that align with business goals and user needs. As a design leader, you will shape the overall design direction, mentor team members, and champion design excellence across the organization.
Responsibilities
Lead the design process from concept to delivery, ensuring seamless and user-friendly experiences.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define product vision and strategy.
Conduct user research to uncover insights and validate design decisions.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate design ideas effectively.
Establish and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency across products.
Advocate for user needs while balancing business objectives and technical constraints.
Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a culture of innovation and creativity.
Stay ahead of industry trends and apply best practices to improve the design process.
Required qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
8+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions.
Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
Strong understanding of user experience (UX), interaction design (IxD), and visual design principles.
Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
Proficiency in building and maintaining design systems.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate design decisions clearly.
Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of mentoring and developing design talent.
